Clan Douglas (Gaelic: Dùbhghlas) is an ancient noble house from the Scottish Lowlands. Known for their rallying cry, "A Douglas! A Douglas!" the clan took its name from Douglas in Lanarkshire. Their leaders acquired extensive territories across the Borders, Angus, Lothian, Moray, as well as in France and Sweden.
